There were enough democrats and republicans in the house to pass the senate's immigration bill. After the 2014 midterm I think there still might be the votes but I'm not sure since some dems lost...

I would give it until May. It does take some time for your case to show up and even when it does it will only say that they received your case and send you a paper detailing how they will proceed...

Clinton! That's a no brainer. Repubs have not earned the immigrants community trust on issues of immigration. Any credibility Bush gained for them has been obliterated.

Anything that removes DACA to push for CIR is coded language for increased border security (even though the border has never been more secure) and increase in deportations. Don't be fooled.
