As of two weeks ago, MIT would not give you admissions unless you have proper documentation or at least have a real path to documentation (ie you're in the process of getting papers.) After all, why...

that's not true! have you checked local colleges in your area? without a doubt, it will be more difficult than if you had the "right" papers, but it's not impossible!
