well i went to the chase bank again today and they said they could probably do it by just using our passport and SSN.... they said they dont need green card or anything like that. so i will see how...

When did you purchase those? I remember we ended up in the same situation when we wanted to build a house and paid 10k for down payment but in the end when the house is finish the mortgage company...

We even told them we would pay up to 30% of the down payment if it is necessary but unfortunately they wouldn't allow us to finance bc my dad didn't have any legal status and I don't have any tax...
