This is nothing new. NJ gives out ID/DL with 3 month extention to everyone regardless of the type of status you have.

Even with the g1145 form they will sent sent receipt paper by snail mail. I'm thinking that they've either recieved it but haven't opened the envelope to look at the application or they sent...

I liked it. It was almost hard to watch/listen to, knowing you're in just about the same predicament. Hearing out loud somehow makes it feel ten times worse.

It's all about communication on the parents part. I never found out about how my bad my situation was until I was 19. Even then my parents weren't the ones to tell me. I found out from the lawyer....

If you overstayed, you don't even need AP to adjust. Your visa/I-94 1s proof of your legal entrance. Any unlawful presence accrued is forgiving.

You're underage. You're technically still not accrued any unlawful presence. Apply for DACA now so you don't officially fall out of status when you turn 18.

I think it's because not all the cards are produced in their respective servce center. My service center was Nebraska but my card was delivered from Kentucky.

Unless they changed the rules, that location only did walk-ins on Wednesdays. But if you have the time, it doesn't hurt to try walking in during the other days of the week.

Too late for that. OP already told Ikea that the w2 is "lost" and s/he is trying to "find" it. At this point the Ikea HR will most likely get suspicious of foul play if OP suddenly says s/he was paid...

You were a permanent resident yet your social was not valid for work? You should have had it changed the moment you got your residency card. Unless you have an EAD or some sort of work visa to prove...

I remember reading about someone who had a similar situation on here months ago. It took the person a little over 3 months to get his/her SSN. Let me see if I can pull up that thread. Maybe it will...

I have flown countless times before I was issued an EAD with just a foreign passport. TSA main jobs are to insure that the passport/ID is valid, legitimate, and that the first & last name matches...

Technically you can because it is a form of a government issued ID. But I wouldn't advise it. Tis' better to loose a $15 state ID card than to loose a $465 one that could take an extra 3-6 months to...

In my onpinion I would highly recommend you talk to a lawyer before you say or do anything with your employer. It seems to me that when you changed your ssn, you sent some sort of red flag to HR...
