USCIS assigned me one, once USPS picked up my EAD. My case as of right now reads:

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on December 13, 2013. The USPS...

Thanks. I was getting real worried about my case. I kept coming across so many posts of people waiting for over 6+ months & I was getting impatient. I can't wait for my EAD to come in the mail!!

Thanks! :) oh, Really? How cool. I don't want to wait an extra 30 days, but I'm approved now, so I wouldn't mind waiting. As long as I get my EAD card.
