Do I need to be a u.s. Citizen to be a car dealer?

I was thinking about being a car salesman for a while because I heard they can make good money.Do I have to be a citizen to work for a dealership?

I kind of hate that their are tons of kids flooding the borders because coyotes are lying to the parents telling them that they will get free citizenship.
