Your entire case took 4 months?! If mine takes 4 months then my card will expire before they finish processing!

My application was received July 23rd and I went to the biometrics 8/24... Still no news and I'm so worried! My EAD is about to expire in October... does the interim EAD work? Who qualifies for it?...
