Fyi the welcome packet was sent after approval of your 140 petition. Before filing 601a, you were required to pay the visa fee therefore you would have the welcome packet and case number already. NVC...

This is good news but make sure you talk to a lawyer. There were some cases of people (c1d visa) who went home with approved 601a but were denied on their interview because of fraud/misrepresentation...

Just read that if you are in a mixed household like one spouse has SSN and the other has ITin, the whole househould is disqualified for the stimulus.
