OMG I'm in the same dilemma as you, exact timeline and my congressman it's also a republican... I also expedited but I haven't received anything I send my documents on 03/20 asking for travel dates...

I send mine on the FEbreaury 20/2017 I just called yesterday to expedite under humanitarian reasons, and they told me I would get a letter within 5 days did they ask you for more evidence?

Hello,
How long after they scheduled your biometrics appointment do you receive the actual appointment letter? Mine were scheduled on April 27, 2017 but I still haven't received anything.
