I really appreciate ya for help. Nice to have some knowledge going in than have none. Sounds like I wont get naturalized until after AIT because of 180 day rule for active duty. Eh.... I am so tired...

It seems like most mavni Korean soldiers deploy to Korea after AIT. My question is if you are not a naturalized US citizen yet, will you be a holdee until you get naturalized to be able to ship...

Question for yall: my DACA status will expire before I naturalize. Will this be an issue when I apply for naturalization or anything USCIS related?

Yo! Im shipping out to BCT on sept with 88H mos. What do you think of tyat MOS? I chose it because that was only one available for me.

From what i know and have heard, ARs do not get to choose new MOS, unfortunately. Kind of makes sense though right? They are already assigned to a unit

Congratulations to those who have completed the BCT! What would you say the hardest part about BCT? How can one beat prepare for it physically? Would y'all say run?

News been going around regarding some MAVNIs, those who have not been shipped to BCT, are being discharged and are not being told why.

How can I check to see if I'm still a recruit?

That may be true, but I want to fully commit to army hence I went active duty. Time we spent in DEP counts towards IRR for active duty too rigjt?

When does that 180 TIS start? Day 1 of basic? Day 1 of AIT? Or day 1 at duty station?

My SSBI agent told me there are still a lot of mavnis just starting their SSBI. She said SSBI result should be completed in 3 to 6 months, but who knows...
