I've only traveled once to VA, with my valid passport and everything went fine. They only checked to see if my name matched my boarding pass. I was hoping to travel again but most of the schedules...

I got asked to go to the Marine Corps Ball by a friend of mine, but it's being held at a hotel in downtown san diego. I REALLY want to go but I have no clue if there are checkpoints along the way....
