I am in contact with many student groups in California. Community colleges like Santa Barbara City College, East LA College, Santiago Canyon College, Fullerton College, and Santa Monica College have their own support groups.

May I ask what school you are with? I work at a research center at UCLA, and have many contacts around the state which may be of help to you and the group you want to form.
