Ahhh! my direct action friend. Nothing like making it to the streets to make a point. Well, there are two types of agendas. One is the one you are going to use for the parade. The one I believe you are thinking is more complex. First of all, why do you want the Dream Act to pass? i do not mean who it is going to benefit you but why it is not okay for us, as a group, to continue to live in the shadows.

Why this situation is unfair? is it inmoral? unethical? unjust? avobe all why?

This is very important because it is going to define what you want to acomplish. We all want the Dream Act to pass. Still one thing is what we want and another what we are willing to do to get it.

You should think about it for a while and then see the scope of what you want to acomplish. First, of all, to do this in a month is too short. We just do not have the time and the resources to do this. I tell you this, because we are organizing a local event right now for CIR and we are thinking August. If you want to make a parade in D.C., i strongly recomend you to do it in September. I don't think the dream Act is going to be put on the floor before that - if wrong, please Ianus correct me!- and it is going to help you to gather the allies and the knowlege to rock the white house. In any case, it is only advice. You decide what you want to do.

Finally, it also depends on where you live. MarisolNY is one of our best members and also has a lot of experience doing events like this one. She can really help you to do something awesome. Quaker and the team of Dreamactivist.org are also planing to do some stuff and your idea might be similar to what they are planning.

In any case, if you want more information and want me to help you in any other way. Please, PM me. As the matter of fact, I would prefer that.

Take Care
