ha ha ha ha...it seems someone has yet to master how to do a proper pact with the devil a la Tom Sawyer.

In collecting signatures you look for a place where you might have a sympathetic audience. Three scripts, one is a little line, the second is a longer version and the third is a bigger version with all the bells and whistles.

We do need a letter to the main target, I assume president Obama, no longer than one page and then the template for the signatures. Some thing like 6-10 signatures per page. Name, phone, address. DO NOT WORRY, PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE TIME TO GO AND GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO ICE. THEY WANT TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE TO MAKE SURE YOU EXIST, AND TO SEND YOU MORE GOVERNMENT INFORMATION.

Sadly, yes, even the longer script has to be between 2-3 minutes. The first one would be like:

"Please, can you sing this letter for president Obama to pass the Dream Act. It will give an opportunity to undocumented students, who were brought as minors, a path for legalization."

If they keep walking never mind, if they stop and ask a question, be polite, even with the meanest jerk. if you are under any government building, remind them you are exercising your right for freedom of speech. If you are doing it outside a business or congregation ask permission first. If the pastor looks afraid, just remind them that they cannot endorsed politicians or political affiliations but they can endorse legislation. If they are still hesitant, thank them anyway and ask them where which groups they think you should target.

Remember always smile and use the nice cologne. People respond more to good looking people. Horrible but true.
