i have done tons of research, I've researched every senator one by one and saw opinions they wrote, their voting records and how they stand with the people that voted them into office...

i want this as much as anyone here does... the reason i wrote such questions is b/c i want everyone to be clear in a realistic way on how to make this work...

my conclusion through all this research is that some senators are afraid to speak out on what they really think, afraid that they wont get re-elected.
take Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand (D-NY) for example.. she has been against immigration reform until the Hispanic Caucus told her that "if she doesn't get her acts together, she can forget about getting re-elected.
