Like everything else worth having, passing this legislation will take a lot of hard work and might span more than this congressional session.
We absolutely must look at the DREAM Act campaign as a long term battle.

"Hoping", whenever it implies inaction, will not help us. "This is our year" rhetoric will not help us. Cursing the heavens and screaming "kill the umpire" will not help us. The only thing that will get this legislation to the floor is your hard work.

Find your local groups, join them, bring back your experiences and share. There is no, and there has never been, any other way.
Do it now, while you are still angry at the umpire, because tomorrow there is a danger of being back to "hoping", as it implies inaction.
