I do however think that sharing our story would help tremendously. We don't need to hit national news, but we need to share with our close (citizen) friends. For years the media has called us "Illegal Alien" and it has scared people. We need to come out of the shadows and show that we are not "Illegal Aliens" we are just like anyone else. This will educate the general public and get the momentum rolling.

Easier said than done. There is no way I would even dream of telling my girlfriend's (Republican) parents about my situation. I did however tell my g/f and she was completely empathetic. She's a start
