I have been here for 20 years, and have had insurance for the last 15- all paid on our own. I can buy my own insurance; thank you very much. Besides the more people paying into the pool, the lower the premiums should be. Banning people from buying private insurance, even for their U.S. citizen children is absolutely disgraceful. And if controllling illegal immigrants and their offspring is the intent, what do you think causes poor, uneducated, illegal immigrant women to continue getting pregnant????? Keep 'em inside their house, without participation in the job market and without access to contraceptive management, and you'll see how many more babies they keep having.
