Hey guys,

I've been a reader of the forum for a couple months now but never posted much. I have decided that I can no longer be a spectator but an active contributor.

Its becoming increasingly evident that the DREAM ACT is a topic that will be discussed heavily during the upcoming immigration reform. We are at a point where the US can no longer ignore our existance and presence in this country. It is time that we act out loud if we really want to gather the much needed support for our cause.

I have a plan to make our stories public, and by doing so I hope those who read our situations can deeper understand our noble intentions to be an intricate part of this great country which we would one day like to call our own. We all come from diverse backgrounds, many nations, and many struggles. Some of us have been able to partially succeed in the US, but have been devastatingly limited in some way or another.

I would like for all of us to write a story, or essay, in which we describe our situation. We must discuss from the moment we arrived here, how we grew up, adapted, felt discriminated, struggled, perceviered, etc.

I have though of creating a website in which I will publish all of the submissions on a daily basis, as I receive them. With the internet being available to millions around the country, the world, it would be a great outlet for our information to be available to everyone who wishes to be enlightened. Most importantly, we can email, facebook, twitter, digg, stumblupon, etc as promotion for the webpage, which can definately gain relevance in the up coming washington debates.

Please read this over with optimism and let's get this project rolling. If I get enough replies or messages, I will move forward on this immediately. Once I have the webpage I will post it on this message.
