Seriously though, I would like for the president to just come out and say, we won't be able to do CIR this year by Feb. I then hope we can blitz Durbin with faxes/calls/emails to get him to bring the DA up this year as an amendment. I think that is the best/only option.

Democrats can barely even agree on joining the two healthcare bills; I just don't see them doing the same heavy lifting for c. immigration reform. Also, every single political analyst I have watched says democrats won't tackle the issue. Maybe if one a couple would say that democrats would give the issue a shot I would feel a little optimistic, but I have still yet to see one to say that.

It is sad, but even I don't believe any of the immigration news anymore. It is really just wishful thinking. To think that we may have to wait another 2 years to "maybe" get legalized is crazy. Enough, is enough.
