Agreed 100%. And no one can dispute these facts because they are all over the news, in print and on the web. The Obama administration has increased the practices of the Bush administration after gaining support by deriding these same tactics. I don't care that is political; you can play politics with things, but should not with PEOPLE. They deported a record number of people in 2009; most of which had as deep ties to this country as we do. Many with US born family. Didn't matter. So this is something that I've been writing about for months as well; all the issues on the table remain the same for CIR and since they've been debated to death (literally) in a world that made sense, they would just pass CIR that would benefit us and the country. But noooooo. If it makes sense, they want nothing to do with it. How stupid. Imagine all the properties that could have been purchased by now if they had legalized the undocumented population back in 2006 and 2007: The real estate bubble was real, but now you would have had millions of potential and eager buyers with years ahead of their working lives. Taxes and revenue would have been collected by now in the dozens of millions. It'll come back and bite them in the ass, we'll see.
