I'm not happy about this, but if it makes the bill less controversial than it makes the bill less controversial. Homosexuals are gradually becoming more accepted, and the laws will eventually reflect that. Gay/lesbian undocumented immigrants will still get legalized if CIR passes. But seriously, if California really can't keep gay marriage, did you honestly expect CIR to acknowledge gay immigrant couples? Don't blame Schumer for that, he's actually trying--blame the bigots.
