When will you people understand that the government doesn't do things for when its convenient for us, but rather when its convenient for them. If they push for CIR right now, which seems like what's about to happen in April, CIR will surely fail. Mainly because health care will pass and Republicans and the conservative citizens will be pissed. So when they throw immigration at their faces, they'll be extra defensive of their "conservative beliefs" and will make it a point to take down CIR. Especially since they already hated the idea of a path to legalization in the first place. I mean, when you hate something are you going to start liking it while your pissed?

CIR will fail if they push for it right after health care reform passes. And if that happens they ain't working on CIR until the next president. NOW, the DREAM Act on the other hand, may have a chance. But only if they play the cards right. They have to push CIR and pass the DREAM, at the same time or right after they vote on CIR, on the down-low. That's the only way I see things happening this year.
