I get that too. I always grow quiet whenever some topics are brought up, and people notice it, but mostly it ends up just angering me, cuz I feel like I can't talk freely about them. Thankfully NOW most people already know about my status (I recently made a public speech in an event and told my story), so if anything good came out of it, it is that I don't get those awkward questions anymore.
