Well, I guess he did a flip-flop right after HCR passed so maybe there is reason to hope for Graham at least.

I can't understand why the Democrats would even try to make a priority out of this issue. I really doubt it will be popular with the country right now. I also doubt it will garner them any long-term support. They really should have been pushing immigration a long time ago. They have demonstrated very little foresight here.

By the bye, I also don't really buy Graham's argument. If they have a general framework in place, it would just be putting specifics on that framework, which should only mean revising and tweaking earlier legislation to fit the new principles governing how CIR should work.
