I admit what I am going to say is sick in a way, but all of this "bad news" that comes up is actually good for us.

The law passed in Arizona brought immigration into the national spotlight. Without it, immigration reform would have been forgotten and swept under the rug for another year.

The more shootings, the more strict, racist state laws that are passed, the more awful things that happen, then the more pressure there is on our miserable failure of a president, Obama, and the Congress to act on immigration reform this year, which will likely include some sort of path to citizenship for people in our situation, who were brought over as kids.
