Look, even after elections, what is congress going to talk about if not immigration. Everything will be over with. And there has to be consensus among all lawmakers about the issue. Violence on the border is growing, other countries are suffering, immigration levels are too high. Something's gotta give. The main thing stopping anyone right now are the damn elections. When it's all done, maybe senators will focus on actually doing good for this country and not on trying to please a few people back home.
