I like your thinking and as much as I would love the DREAM Act to pass, I have my doubts. The fact of the matter is the immigration system is broken. You've heard everyone say it, even our dearest President Obama, because of that passing the DREAM Act would only benefit those who lie between a specific age range and either join the military or attend college. Thus, such legislation would not fix the overall immigration system but only a small section which, as a matter of fact, wouldn't even be considered a "fix."
