A group of us are planning on petitioning on 6 campuses located throughout the North Texas region this summer. The Universities we're targeting will be UTD (district 32 Pete session, REP), UNT (district 26 Micheal Burgess REP), UT Arlington (district 6 Joe Barton REP), Brookhaven College ( district 24 Kenny Marchant REP), Collin Creek Community College (district 3 John Samuel REP) and Richland college also in district 3. In these districts the representatives in the House have said they will likely vote against DREAM Act.
Our main focus is to let young adults' voices to be heard by their respective congressmen.in addition we will also give Senator Hutchinson (who is unclear about her vote) and Senator Cornyn copies of all six petitions.
