trust me, no one does it just from the goodness of their heart... they gain something from it in return. i am linked up to the movement via my cellphone; when there is an update i receive text messages... last one i got went something like this "congress wants to pass border amendments, call your representatives NOW to URGE them not to pass these amendments"...

.. I was like "wahhhhhhhhhhhhh"... whether republicans asking for border security is just a political game or not; idc. but the borders have to be secured, if your naive to think that you'll get IR without border security, then your wrong. even though some republicans will still vote "no" when the border is shut tight, there are some though that will actually vote "yes".
