Senate Democrats abandon comprehensive energy bill:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100722/..._senate_energy

"The decision by Democrats means that two major issues they had pledged to take on this year, energy reform and immigration, could remain unresolved before the midterm elections."

Today Senator Reid and top Democrats announced that they are abandoning Comprehensive Energy and Climate legislation because they don't have 60 votes and not a single Republican will vote with them now that Lindsey Graham has walked away (AGAIN) from working on this legislation. They will instead move to piecemeal legislation that does have the votes...Just like immigration! This is what will work for DREAM act; it must be attached as an amendment to must-pass legislation!
