I hope the Democrats realize that this is their best chance to secure the Latino vote not only in the upcoming election, but also in the presidential election a couple of years from now. The chances of CIR passing will become even slimmer in the next Congress. They have to do something now because they will no longer have the opportunity to please Latino voters in the next couple of years.
