I appreciate his support for a pathway to legalization for the undocumented but to be honest, speeches are just not working for me, sorry.
Ditto... every time theirs an article about him expressing his support i don't even bother to read it just because i know its all talk.

If he made more and longer appearances around Lousiana during the oil spill and pushed scientists to help with the effort then people might listen to him better, as well as speaking in the senate when they were considering the DoD bill with the DADT and the DA attached then people might have a better view on him and listen to what he has to say more favorably. What I don't get, and this was also present with Bush, is how presidents decide to spend so much time vacationing, and playing around, specially when there is a war elsewhere and their policies are not passing, I would think they would work harder under such circumstances.
You know, i know their was a post about Rahm Emmanuel leaving the white house, but i have been wondering if that will make any difference in his handling of DA or CIR. I wonder if he will be more than vocal, and actually act on something. What do you guys know about his new chief of staff?
