An aide to a moderate GOP senator said Democrats haven’t made any serious attempts to discuss the bill with the other side of the aisle. There is “no real organized effort that I am aware of,” the source said, “generally this is seen for what it is — a political, not policy driven endeavor.”…Potentially offering hope to the legislation’s advocates, Don Stewart, a spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, said Republicans aren’t making it their top priority to kill the bill.
See this is the problem Im am having with the Democrats. Every few years, when they are in trouble, they come out with thisDream act as a way to get hispanic and immigrant voters to vote for them, knowing they dont want it to pass, because then they cant use it the next time. I mean they are not even talking to the other side about what to do. And I think that they dont consider the DREAM a priority cuz they are not voting for it, and know it wont pass
