reality seems like

1. alot more politicians are for the Dream Act
2. they're not tacking it onto a gay and abortion friendly bill this time
3. the proponents have learned from past mistakes and are not parading around with Mexican flags (think of how voters feel when they see people with Mexican flags demanding things in the US)
4. the authors of the bill are willing to make small changes to get more votes


I may be wrong, but it seems like this is the only time all these things have come together.
