You do realize the vote today wasn't for cloture or to pass the bill, right?

The vote was to table (kill) the senate version so they could vote on the house version later. He didn't want to delay the vote so he voted no, so did Mendez, but that doesn't mean they won't vote Yea on the actual thing monday.
