Well, last time I checked the Democrats never came out completely as a caucus and signed a document that said they would not consider anything till the GOP caved to their demands on taxes. The Republicans did.

So what this amounts to is that no Democrat can voice opposition to an insane tax policy or it will be considered the Democrats' fault that nothing passes through congress? This twisted logic is like a situation where a wife gets beaten by her husband for not doing the dishes, and then a neighbor says the problem is not the husband who is doing the beating, but the wife forgetting the dishes.
