The Democrats need to show a win, particularly after yesterday and the omnibus bill- and many of them appear to be seriously pissed about how the repubs, in particular the hard-line and or teaparty ones are playing all this out.

You notice the blatant lies that they will spew about DREAM, well yesterday they were doing the same with the spending bill.

Many people have been talking about them staying through the holidays, and some conservatives made what could have been a serious gaffe by claiming it was "anti- Christian" for them not to be home for the most holy day of the year - and the week before and after --- It was pointed out to them that millions of Americans have to work Christmas day, and never get two paid weeks off- ever.

It would be smart for Reid to push through DREAM regardless of the cloture vote - call them on the filibuster if needed. In the bigger political picture it would just make sense.
