How do you figure Obama won anything.

Pay attention to whats been happening legislatively the last 2 years. You will know what we won. Dont be a fake democrat just because this immigration issue effects you personally. Realize what being a democrat is about. Spend the time to learn about govt and what you stand for. Dont just stop caring after you get your papers.

He lost a democratic majority in the house and senate the biggest loss in in nearly 20 years.

Losing the house isnt as big a deal you may think it is. Losing power in the senate was a bigger deal, but we didnt lose majority. When you think of senate democrats, Dont think majority. We didnt lose our 60 supermajority votes. We had 60 Dems in name but not in votes. We never had a supermajority to begin with in the senate.... even though the media claimed we did. We had Lieberman, Ben Neslson, and a whole bunch of other blue dog Dems. We DID NOT lose the main democrats in the Senate. We lost outliers , the Blue Dog democrats. They were the weak hands anyway that would not have voted for the Dream Act. You guys think just because they are democrats they are likely to vote for this bill. A bunch of Dems didnt vote for it fyi.

Democrats still have the majority in the senate. The senate is where most of the power for passing legislation is dealed with. As you may know Dream Act passed the house. It will most likely pass the conservative house in this coming year. I have always said, we need both parties to agree on the Dream Act. You cannot shove it through. It will fail.

He no longer has any power to do any of the things he got passed because its the republicans that will write the bills in the House.

Republicans and democrats will be writing the bills. Get used to a congress that will have both democratic ideals as well as republican bills. Otherwise the new republicans as well as more democrats will be voted out in the next 2 years. Its already happening. Mitch McConnel is being forced to negotiate with Dems. Classic Example was the Tax Bill. That was a hard thing for the republicans to swallow. You want your Tax Free wealthy people? Well you have to have a bunch of Dem bills with it.

Health Bill overturned? Hmmm, lets assume the house gets some kind of repeal bill passed. Which could happen... I admit. But then.. it has to go to the senate. Now for the Senate to get 60 Votes to repeal the bill is sooo unlikely. The chances are almost 0. But lets assume the republicans get the 60 votes. It now goes to Obama. Do you think Obama is going to repeal his own law? Well he will Veto it. It then comes back to the senate upon being vetoed. The Senate would now have to muster 75 Votes to override the presidents vote. Which is impossible. Healthcare law is here to stay.

Trusting Obama is being a sucker what is the saying you fool me once you are asking to be fooled several more times.

Who would you rather trust? Obama or Sarah Palin, or John McCain? I think you will be trusting the president again.
