BTW unemployment rate on 2005 is about 5% and they killed CIR. Republicans just make excuses after excuses.
Exact point there was action on CIR when the unemployment rate was 5.% when its 10.0% its a whole different situation. You keep saying Republican this and that but there has always been Democrat opposition that has kept immigration reform from passing. Hence the 5 democratic votes that blocked the dream act this time. If you have a democrat senator or house member in a republican state then they are going vote against or they will lose there seat. Since the Dream Act could not get the votes for closture then any immigration bill now has to go back to the house before it makes it to the senate for a vote. Laws are what will need to happen this fight needs to be moved to the courtroom rather than legislative branches because the courts can make you or break you without politicians being involved. If the requests for immigration acts like Dream Act or immigration reform pass the constitutional mustard then that is the best place to fight for action as you can tell what we are doing is not working we need new idea rather rehashing the same message.
