Right. Because you know, the GOP got the Senate seats in CA/NV/WA/CO and they now control the Senate.

It's a game of chicken. Who makes the first move. With the census results coming out, the GOP knows that Whitey will not be able to win them elections much longer. It's either they appeal to the voters or die as a party. But then again, I doubt any GOPr really cares about the future of the party. As long as they have their seat right now, they're good.
