Sad thing is any Democrat in Texas has no power to push a bill across. The republicans have something like a 70 seat majority in the house. Good intention but there not going to let democrats have anything. Its the most lopsided politics ever seen in Texas right now. Its actually like the Dems are not even there and the Republicans are head hunting killing everything democrats wanted when they had the power to get things stopped previously. Texas politics is getting uglier by the day.
