The only reason they think that is because they think only the immigrants will benefit from a reform. But if we can show that the USCs will benefit from it too (ie: legalizing workers will bring in more money because then the illegal workers will be force to pay taxes legally = economic boost = more jobs opening) then they'll probably be more open to the idea. Right now, they think "if it's good for the illegals, it's bad for us", so we have to show them that it is good for them too.
