He's talking like we're just sitting on our asses twiddling our thumbs. That is unacceptable.

And when he gives a speech about the DREAM Act all he does is reiterate its provisions. Yeah, I know there's a military option. Yeah, I know there's a conditional residency period. Yeah, I know you have to have been here since you were 16. Jeez, for a guy with such intelligence and at one point, such dominating political savvy, he's shown absolutely poor and unacceptable leadership on this issue.

He thinks Congress is going to do something. The Dems couldn't pull anything off with overwhelming majorities! I'm sick of giving him slack. Yes, it's Congress' job to pass legislation, so yes, he can only go so far. But he hasn't even gone anywhere! He has been giving the same damn speech since he's come into office. Make no mistake, President Bush expended more political capital on immigration reform in one summer than Obama has done in two years.
All he's been able to muster was an invitation to Eva Longoria to come to the White House. Yeah, she's hot, but unless she can give me a green card, I could give a rat's ass that she's meeting with Obama.
I totally freaking agree with you on everything, Rock Steady. And yes, Bush did try do more for immigration than Obama. We CAN NO LONGER F****** WAIT FOR SOMETHING HAPPEN. We have all ready done our damn part; people, like Longoria, have no MUTHA F***** idea what they are talking about.
