That defeats the purpose of a core element of DREAM act. Not every DREAMer is as lucky as some of you who have supportive parents who were able to pay your way to getting a bachelors. DREAM act is supposed to help these children relief their international students tuition so they may complete their education.

I am all for more strict measures in order to get this thing passed. But ridding of this element seems to touch upon a pillar of this act and make DREAM seem more like "Just give me a greencard" ACT instead of giving us all a chance to *pursue* education.
