This statement is absolutely flawed. If these "illegal aliens" were not eligible for in-state tuition, then most of them would not have access higher education. Consequently, the state would actually lose a stream of financial revenue.

Otherwise, such logic implies that all residents who pay in-state tuition are financially detrimental to the state; therefore, out-of-state tuition should be imposed on EVERYONE.
