Texas is in the south, but it's not
part of the south. We've got the racist xenophobes, but most people here also don't mind an underclass that will do your laundry, watch your kids, and cut your grass (especially when it's 100F for 4 months straight).
That's why we have bills that penalize illegal immigrant employers.... so long as they're not households employing 'the help.'
