Along with this topic, I have a small discussion scenario. Let's assume Obama is re-elected, but the congressional makeup stays the same or SLIGHTLY changes but still necessitating bipartisanship. What's the strategy then?????????? I ask because many of you imply that Democrats should leave the immigration topic alone until after 2012, a period in which many of you think Obama will still be in office. That's great, but what if . . . the senate and house look the same or slightly different? Wait two . . . four more years until Democrats control congress?
