I know most of you probally didn't. Most probally assume that all of the republicans would act like attack dog towards immigrants...But actually Newt Gingrich proposed an idea, "local citizen boards who decide who will stay and who will go".

What do you think of that idea? Then you can be judged on your family connections, honesty, potential for economic contribution, etc. It sounds better than now, and sounds like a compromise.
