Another good point.

I don't think the article gives the specifics of the girl's case. Maybe, she had a relative that could help her fix her status.

Nonetheless, if DHS does declare that "we cannot be deported," wouldn't the next logical thing that the DHS would do would be give us a work permit and SSN? I am curious.
